about us

our mission

Here at Inkpot, our mission is simple: to showcase and celebrate the diverse talents, writing styles, and perspectives of the members of the League of Utah Writers. Learn more about the League here.

what we're looking for

First, we want excellent writing. Send us your best work—stories and poems that have been critiqued, revised, and polished until they shine.

Second, we want masterful interpretations of the issue's theme. Words mean different things to everyone; what do the themes we select mean to you? What sparks does it create in your imagination? What unique spin can you put on it?

Third, we want pieces that move us. We want work that makes us feel more human, more alive, more aware of the world around and within us.

Stacy fell in love with writing while holding a feather quill pen in a second-grade photoshoot assignment. She knew right away that stories, poetry, and the like would always be part of her life. Along that vein, Stacy graduated from Weber State University with a BA in English-- Creative Writing in 2020, even amidst the chaos that year held. She is a published author with books released in 2022, 2023, and 2025. Aside from the literary world, you will find Stacy teaching music to the up-and-coming generation instilling creativity as well as enjoying every adventure in life with her husband
